安全享受單車樂
騎單車人士戴上防護頭盔可減少嚴重頭部創傷的機會，甚至能因而挽回性命。隨著單車活動在歐美國家日漸受歡迎，一名科大畢業生研發配備指示燈的單車頭盔，以加強單車愛好者的安全。
智能單車頭盔是由科大機械工程學及工商管理學雙學位畢業生陳浩然與其好友共同研發。陳浩然與在哈佛大學交流時認識的好友一拍即合，其後開始研發智能單車頭盔。
名為Lumos的智能頭盔旨在提升單車人士於夜間昏暗時的安全和能見度。陳浩然解釋，在香港的單車經騎車比較安全，但是在美國，越來越多人以單車代步，然而美國的司機還沒有適應路面上的單車人士，因此經常會有因汽車與單車碰撞的交通意外發生。
陳浩然指出，當Lumos用家按下單車手柄上無線遙控配件的按鈕後，頭盔後方的LED燈便會隨即亮起，示意單車人士將會轉左或轉右。智能照明頭盔能讓汽車司機注意單車人士所在，避免發生意外和受傷。這項創新發明有助顯著減少單車相關的交通意外事故。
Lumos在2015年7月份於全球群眾集資平台Kickstarter上首度推出。推出首日已接獲1,182張訂單，成功集資超過14萬美元（折合約100萬港元）。
