香港科技大學（科大）獲林達光陳恕信託基金會捐款支持科大侍學行的學生社會服務活動
香港科技大學獲林達光陳恕信託基金會慷慨捐款，成立「林達光先生夫人資助金」，支持科大學生參與社會服務學習活動。
林達光陳恕信託基金會由林達光教授和夫人陳恕女士成立。林教授為著名學者和歷史學家，一生均積極為中國的發展，特別是促進中國和加拿大之邦交，作出無私奉獻。林教授曾於加拿大居住和接受教育。
基金會希望更多年青人可多方面認識中國，為中國年青一代作出貢獻。基金將以捐款於科大成立「林達光先生夫人資助金」，支持更多學生參與由科大侍學行舉辦的中國內地社會服務學習活動。
除了基金會對社會服務學習的捐款外，林夫人更將林教授生前收藏的所有珍貴書籍，以及林教授的手稿、書信、傳媒報導、演講辭和照片，捐贈給香港科技大學圖書館。圖書館於2015年4月16日至10月30日舉辦「遊走東西盡平生:林達光」展覽，介紹林教授不凡的一生和展出部份由林夫人捐贈的珍貴書刊和書信文件。
科大學務長譚嘉因教授及科大侍學行的同學和職員，和科大圖書館於2015年4月20日於科大接待了林教授兒子林潮教授和基金會信託人朱宗宇先生，並向林基金會的慷慨捐贈表達謝意。
