香港科技大学（科大）获林达光陈恕信托基金会捐款支持科大侍学行的学生社会服务活动
香港科技大学获林达光陈恕信託基金会慷慨捐款，成立「林达光先生夫人资助金」，支持科大学生参与社会服务学习活动。
林达光陈恕信託基金会由林达光教授和夫人陈恕女士成立。林教授為着名学者和歷史学家，一生均积极為中国的发展，特别是促进中国和加拿大之邦交，作出无私奉献。林教授曾于加拿大居住和接受教育。
基金会希望更多年青人可多方面认识中国，為中国年青一代作出贡献。基金将以捐款于科大成立「林达光先生夫人资助金」，支持更多学生参与由科大侍学行举办的中国内地社会服务学习活动。
除了基金会对社会服务学习的捐款外，林夫人更将林教授生前收藏的所有珍贵书籍，以及林教授的手稿、书信、传媒报导、演讲辞和照片，捐赠给香港科技大学图书馆。图书馆于2015年4月16日至10月30日举办「游走东西尽平生:林达光」展览，介绍林教授不凡的一生和展出部份由林夫人捐赠的珍贵书刊和书信文件。
科大学务长谭嘉因教授及科大侍学行的同学和职员，和科大图书馆于2015年4月20日于科大接待了林教授儿子林潮教授和基金会信託人朱宗宇先生，并向林基金会的慷慨捐赠表达谢意。
