科大「STEAM in Summer」活動啟發中小學生探索科學、科技與工程
香港科技大學（科大）工學院環球社會中心於2024年7月6日在科大校園舉辦了名為「STEAM in Summer」的暑期活動，為約300名中小學師生提供了獨一無二的STEAM學習體驗。
活動包括STEAM比賽體驗、互動STEAM攤位、DIY遊戲區和工作坊。STEAM比賽體驗讓參加者一嚐環球社會中心兩大STEAM競賽——「水底機械人大賽」及「機械人探索盃」的樂趣。互動STEAM攤位展示了各種科技項目，包括 Micro:bit 的相關項目及早前於國際賽事中獲獎的藝術機械人。在專為教師而設的工作坊上，教師們學習如何將新開發的擴增實境（AR）應用程式用於水底機械人中。
是項活動圓滿成功，並進一步彰顯大學在培育新一代創新人才的承擔和努力。
