迷你電動三輪車工作坊激發中小學女生對STEM的興趣
香港科技大學（科大）工學院轄下的鵬程青年工程師學苑及環球社會中心，聯同工程及科技學會香港分會於2024年12月5至6日舉辦了「STEM for Girls：迷你電動三輪車工作坊」，吸引了來自九所中小學約90位女學生和老師參與。
在工作坊上，學生首先學習電動自行車的入門知識，如認識它的優點和缺點。隨後，他們探索了電動自行車的構造和所需部件，包括引擎、電池和傳動系統。完成理論學習後，便進入這次工作坊的重點實踐環節——她們需要運用所學到的知識組裝自己的電動三輪車。透過合作完成一系列任務，學生不但學會了很多STEM方面的實用技能，亦加深了她們對STEM概念的理解。
總括而言，透過結合理論和體驗式學習，這次工作坊提升了同學對STEM的興趣及認識，有助啟發未來的女性工程師與創新者。
