香港中華廠商聯合會到訪科大了解學生發展
為了進一步了解本地高等教育及青少年工作之發展，香港中華廠商聯合會(廠商會)會長李秀恒博士連同五名副會長(包括徐炳光博士、楊志雄先生、徐晉暉先生、吳清煥先生及戴澤良博士)及教育委員會主席盧毓琳博士、其他常務會董及會董等一行22人於六月四日到訪香港科技大學。他們參觀了大學教學設施及在工程教育創新中心與教授及學生們交流意見 。
科大校長陳繁昌教授感謝廠商會過去八十一年為香港發展所作出的貢獻及祝其再創高峯。 副校長翁以登博士祈望與廠商會有更多合作機會，例如作為廠商會「社群共融：多元路向暑期培訓計劃2015」之合辦機構，招待高中學生作一天大學生之生活體驗，藉此鼓勵青少年迎接挑戰，力爭上遊。
李秀恒博士讚賞科大在短短二十四年取得今日非凡的成就，並鼓勵學生們多用創意去為香港科技進步繼續努力。
最後，科大就廠商會過往十年不斷捐贈獎學金予科大同學，並曾捐助有關清潔空氣之研究，表示衷心感謝。
