香港科技大學初創公司參加2019國際資訊科技博覽
2019國際資訊科技博覽於2019年4月13-16日在香港會議展覽中心舉行。 香港科技大學（科大）共有六家初創公司參加展覽，展示他們的服務及產品。
2019國際資訊科技博覽於2019年4月13-16日在香港會議展覽中心舉行。 六家香港科技大學（科大）初創公司參與其中，在本土創意科技專區展示他們的服務及產品。該專區匯聚本土公司及專才，為本地教育機構和專業聯會提供一個能展示創新構思和策略的平台。
透過在科大攤位展示其服務和產品，科大初創公司的經營模式和理念獲展會高度肯定。科大初創公司iSTEM在國際資訊科技博覽2019期間舉辦的香港科技創價大賽中勇奪冠軍。該比賽由香港貿易發展局及天使投資基金主辦，至今舉辦已逾三年，在過百家國際資訊科技博覽2019的參展初創企業中，僅九家企業能入選總決賽角逐冠軍寶座。經過天使投資基金的資深投資者團隊評審，iSTEM憑藉應用人工智能和虛擬實境技術推廣科學、技術、工程、藝術和數學（STEAM）跨學科教育，在一眾參加者中別樹一幟，成功折下桂冠。
“在參展期間，透過與用家和股東接觸，我們得到很多寶貴意見和合作機會。”iSTEM創始人在受訪時表示，這是iSTEM第二年參加國際資訊科技博覽，公司透過開發人工智能、虛擬實境和遊戲化來強化學生的學習動力。目前iSTEM正為30家本地中小學提供教學方案，並期望在將來與更多學校合作。
