HKUST has co-organized a series of multidisciplinary webinars under the theme “Navigating a World of Disruption”, with our global partners. On 23 June 2020, Interdisciplinary Programs Office (IPO) has hosted a joint webinar, “Biases, Norms and Culture: A Framework for Understanding Our Responses to a Pandemic”, in partnership with KTH Royal Institute of Technology, to share how people respond to the pandemic from different perspectives—social & cultural, public health, public transportation, urban planning & design.
