[eNews] Managerial Decision Making & Leadership Programs for Tencent in Shenzhen

The Executive Education Office (EEO) conducted two 2-day Managerial Decision Making and Leadership Programs for Tencent in Shenzhen in October and November.

The training program aimed to enhance leadership skills of the participants and improve their abilities in leading teams to make quality decisions to achieve organizational goals. Prof Caroline WANG introduced her decision-making framework, talked about her 30+ years of experience in leading teams and making decisions, and discussed with the participants the most common traps that prevent management from making the best managerial decisions. Participants handled different case studies and role plays to figure out the quality decision making framework, and how it could be applied to different tough situations.

 

Targeted for middle to senior executives, this was the first time the EEO delivered this training program to Tencent Ecosystem Partners. About 30 companies, who have been invested in by Tencent, participated in the module in November,  and the training program in October was delivered to another 30 high potential participants from eight different business groups belonging to Tencent.
