According to recent reports on China Education and Research Network, Nankai University and The Hong Kong University of Science and Technology (HKUST) have jointly developed a 5-inch, full color active matrix organic light emitting diode (AMOLED) display - the first of its kind in China. Prof Hoi Sing Kwok and Prof Man Wong, Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department, took part in this research project under the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology 863 Program.
