科大工学院连续13年蝉联全港第一
英国《泰晤士高等教育》近日公布2024年世界大学学科排名，香港科技大学继续于工程及计算机科学两个学科排行全港首位。
在工程学科排名，科大位列全球第33位，并连续13年荣膺全港之冠。 工程学科排名由五项分科组成：通用工程、电机与电子工程、机械与航空航天工程、土木工程和化学工程。
在计算机科学学科排名，科大居于全球第31位，连续八年蝉联全港首位。
学科排名采用18项与《泰晤士高等教育》世界大学排名相同的绩效指标，分为五个领域，分别是教学（学习环境）、研究环境（发表量、收入和声誉）、研究质素、国际展望（教师、学生和研究）和行业（知识转移）。
排名结果肯定了工学院在教学和研究方面的卓越表现，以及教研人员和学生的成就。 学院将继续履行使命，为学生提供优质教育，并通过研究的突破和创新拓展学院在全球的影响力。
