2010全球最佳大学排名∶科大工学院再度领先
香港科技大学（科大）工学院再度成為全港最佳工学院。2010年QS全球顶尖100所科技大学排名中，香港科技大学名列26位，保持去年排名。科大在过去一直躋身全球前30名。
首3位依然是麻省理工学院、史丹福大学和加州大学柏克莱分校。加州大学洛杉磯分校排名15，普林斯顿大学排名21、哈佛大学排名22，科大第26位、普渡大学第28位、英属哥伦比亚大学第30位。
科大工学院院长李德富教授说：「科大是全港唯一在科技领域中躋身全球50强的大学。作為全球最优秀工学院之一，学院的顶尖教研团队和研究生致力寻求重要的学术突破，以推动影响全球的转变。我们的目标是成為全球性学术研究的策动者，於未来為全世界带来革命性的影响。」
《QS全球大学排名》是全球最佳高等学府的排行榜，以大学的研究质素、教学质素、毕业生就业能力和国际化為準则。除总排名外，QS并进行多个学科类别的排名，包括科技类别。
