HKUST Startup Receives Potential and Innovation Award in 海峽兩岸及港澳地區創新創業大賽 (English Version Only)

MultiMedia Big Data Analytics Ltd, a HKUST startup funded by the Technology Start-up Support Scheme for Universities (TSSSU) under the Innovation and Technology Fund (ITF) and Cyberport Creative Micro Fund (CCMF), has received the Potential and Innovation Award in a startup competition "海峽兩岸及港澳地區創新創業大賽" organized by Jinan University in Nov 2016.

The inception of the startup analytics product - Visual Intellectual Property (VIP) Search is based on a patented technology on visual big data analytics from one of its founders, Mr. Pak-Ming Cheung's Ph.D. research.
