Apart from showcasing their products and services at the HKUST booth, HKUST start-ups were actively engaged in other programs of the fair. Four HKUST start-ups, including Compathnion Technology Limited (Compathnion), iSTEM Limited (iSTEM), Pear Limited (Pear) and WEXTECH HK LIMITED, presented in “HKUST Presents: Startup, Smart Launch” at the Startup Zone. This valuable chance provided additional exposure opportunities to HKUST start-ups for reaching out to buyers, investors and visitors.
Besides “Startup, Smart Launch”, Compathnion and iSTEM demonstrated their products at the Exhibitors’ Sharing and ICT Awards Sharing Session while Compathnion, iSTEM and Pear also joined the mentoring sessions of the fair.
“This event provided us with a very good platform to promote our products, disseminate our technology ideas and attract potential collaborators, which was useful to our company.” The company delegate of Pear said. According to the Event Evaluation Survey collected from the participating start-ups, they agreed that the event helped them to line-up with potential collaborators. Cherishing this opportunity offered by HKUST, they would be eager to join the show next year.
