Teaching Excellence Appreciation Awardees Named
The School is pleased to announce the awardees of the School of Engineering Teaching Excellence Appreciation Awards 2011-12.
Distinguished Teaching Award
- Prof Jack Cheng, Assistant Professor of Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering
Teaching Awards
- Prof David Rossiter, Visiting Assistant Professor of Department of Computer Science and Engineering
- Prof Ling Shi, Assistant Professor of Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering
Established in 1994-1995, the annual award scheme focuses on rewarding undergraduate teaching which shows continuous excellence and fosters students’ interest in the subject and their ability to learn.
In each academic year, a maximum of four engineering faculty members will be selected for the Teaching Excellence Appreciation Awards. Among the awardees, one will be selected for the Distinguished Teaching Award.
