PhD Students Excel in Communication Skills
PhD student Kumar Siddharth won the championship and People’s Choice Award of the HKUST Three Minute Thesis Competition, which was held on April 4. Kumar won a cash award and travel grant for the 2019 AsiaPacific 3MT Finals at the University of Queensland, Brisbane, Australia where he will be representing HKUST.
PhD student Usman Bin Shahid won the 1st Runner-up place in the same competition. Both Kumar and Usman are supervised by Prof. Minhua Shao.
