科大成為安永Advanced Technology Tax Lab亞太區首間合作學府
[香港，2020年5月27日] 香港科技大學（科大）宣布與安永的Advanced Technology Tax Lab建立夥伴合作關係，匯聚數據、機器學習、商學專家及國際專業服務精英，攜手研究透過先進科技應用解決複雜稅務問題。
根據雙方簽訂的合作協議，科大與安永將成立協作平台，就不同的實際稅務需要，共同探索和研究新興科技應用及發展相關技術，並推動包括稅務科技案例研究項目、科大學者與安永合夥人演講、學生實習，以及畢業生就業計劃等不同機會。
負責這次合作項目的科大團隊包括科大商學院院長譚嘉因教授、會計學系黃昊教授，以及工學院計算機科學及工程學系郭天佑教授 。這支科大專家組合彰顯跨學科和科技在新數碼經濟下的重要性。
譚教授表示：「我們很榮幸成為安永Advanced Technology Tax Lab亞太區首間合作學府。我們研究人員和學生可在這次合作中與商界建立更緊密的聯繫，有更多機會參與應對業界面對的實際挑戰。」
安永全球及亞太區稅務科技服務主管李海強指：「稅務管理電子化對稅務專業帶來重大轉變。新科技提供更多財務匯報方案，以收集更多實時和電子數據，引入數據及分析和機器學習應用，有助促進與稅務局間的數據共享。」
這次合作有助科大進一步實現技術轉移的願景，以專業知識推動經濟和社會發展；而安永也得以恪守專業承諾，讓業界了解新科技在稅務領域可提供的優勢。
