香港科技大學二十五周年校慶 與香港青年協會攜手培育年輕人才
香港科技大學（科大）適逢二十五周年校慶，與香港青年協會合辦「敢‧創‧未來」師友計劃，以促進學習及開拓知識的活動，培育未來領袖，回饋社會。
「敢‧創‧未來師友計劃」透過跨學科培訓和師友交流活動，為具潛質的高中學生開拓視野，啟迪他們追尋夢想，盡展所長。師友計劃是科大二十五周年校慶活動中聯繫社區的其中一項主要計劃。
科大跨學科課程事務處處長周敬流教授於師友計劃啟動禮致辭時表示：「科大很高興與香港青年協會合作，為年輕人提供這個別開生面的學習體驗。透過師友交流及不同主題的學習活動，我們希望學生能初步了解大學生活，並從科大教授身上獲得有關學習及個人成長方面的啟發。」
香港青年協會督導主任呂慧蓮女士很高興學生有機會向來自不同學術領域的科大教授學習，她表示：「我希望同學們把握這個難得的機會，主動向導師學習，探索未來的人生目標及志向。」
26名來自科大理學院、工學院、工商管理學院及人文社會科學學院的教授參與是次師友計劃，在二月至七月期間以小組形式向70名中四至中五學生介紹科學和工程的尖端科技和嶄新技術，以及商業管理和社會科學的最新研究及發展。學生亦會參觀大學校園及參與跨學科活動。此外，每名學生獲配對一名科大教授為導師，導師會分享個人成長及追求知識的經驗，並提供建議。
