服務學習之旅 傳遞愛與希望
「科大侍學行」是科大致力推動師生服務社會的計劃，透過與社區組織合作建立夥伴關係，提高同學的公民意識。同學藉著參與不同的社會服務、活動計劃和服務團，拓闊眼光，認識世界，關懷有需要的人士，為社會作出貢獻。
羅皓程與孫思雯同學去年參與服務學習之旅。對兩人來說，旅程體驗深刻，帶來不少反思。
羅皓程是人文社會科學學院三年級生。她說：「我於六月前往四川南部馬邊彝族自治區一間小學，探訪當地彝族學生。透過參與這項服務，我希望服務農村的兒童，幫助他們尋找理想，並且鼓勵他們無論如何都堅持追尋夢想。」
皓程目睹年僅7歲的兒童為了上學，每天攀山越嶺四個多小時，給她深切感受。
皓程表示：「看到那些小朋友每天克服艱辛，我領悟到居住在香港這個富裕的城市，應為我所擁有的心存感恩。受教育似乎是我們的基本權利，可是對於這些貧困兒童，卻是難能可貴。」
主修風險管理與商業智能學的三年級生孫思雯先後兩次參加柬埔寨服務學習之旅：一次是在去年一月以參加者身分，同年六月則擔任籌委員成員。
思雯表示：「我選擇參與服務學習交流之旅，理由很簡單，就是想更多探索世界，服侍有需要的人。」
「透過這次旅程，我體會到教育的力量，如何改變了柬埔寨兒童的人生。能夠上學，是他們追求夢想的第一步。那些孩童著實激勵我，我希望推動更多科大同學體驗我所經歷的。」
