校長春訪田家炳博士
今年二月四日（是日「立春」，即猴年第一天）科大校長陳繁昌教授和大學發展及校友事務處處長陳偉思女士拜訪了一位大學老朋友及長期支持者 - 田家炳博士。田博士一生樂善好施，通過其創辦之「田家炳基金會」大力推動教育界及其關心範疇的發展。
田博士在接待陳校長時娓娓說道：「基金會很高興與科大這所在亞洲崛起的優秀大學結為夥伴，我衷心祝賀科大廿五周年校慶，希望你們百尺竿頭，更進一步！」當天基金會主席田慶先先生及董事田榮先先生也在場，陳校長感謝基金會對科大的積極支持，包括資助「科大高研院內地青年學者」計劃、培養中學生對數學及科學興趣的「Kids@UST」工作坊及科大於2016年在香港主辦的「物理奧林匹克」亞洲賽事等。
