校长春访田家炳博士
今年二月四日（是日「立春」，即猴年第一天）科大校长陈繁昌教授和大学发展及校友事务处处长陈伟思女士拜访了一位大学老朋友及长期支持者 - 田家炳博士。田博士一生乐善好施，通过其创办之「田家炳基金会」大力推动教育界及其关心范畴的发展。
田博士在接待陈校长时娓娓说道：「基金会很高兴与科大这所在亚洲崛起的优秀大学结為伙伴，我衷心祝贺科大廿五周年校庆，希望你们百尺竿头，更进一步！」当天基金会主席田庆先先生及董事田荣先先生也在场，陈校长感谢基金会对科大的积极支持，包括资助「科大高研院内地青年学者」计划、培养中学生对数学及科学兴趣的「Kids@UST」工作坊及科大于2016年在香港主办的「物理奥林匹克」亚洲赛事等。
