Over 300 Students Participated in Hong Kong Engineers Week 2024 Career Fair at HKUST
More than 300 students joined the Hong Kong Engineers Week 2024 Career Fair organized by the Hong Kong Institution of Engineers (HKIE) and the School of Engineering’s Center for Industry Engagement & Internship (IEI) at the HKUST campus on February 29, 2024.
The Career Fair aims to provide engineering students with the chances to connect with top industry professionals and learn about the latest industry trends and job opportunities. Through interaction with representatives from a diverse range of engineering enterprises and the public sector, students were able to gain a deeper understanding of the opportunities and challenges of the engineering industry and form a clearer picture of their career path.
The Career Fair is one of the major events in the Hong Kong Engineers Week 2024. The event took place at seven local tertiary institutions during late February to late March to facilitate career matching and provide advice to students.
