技術轉移中心舉辦知識產權講座「知識產權及其保護策略」
技術轉移中心在2018年9月14日於周德新講堂舉辦知識產權講座。該講座邀請了美國知識產權法律事務所Nath, Goldberg & Meyer 的合夥人Jerald L. Meyer律師及Gregory B. Kang律師以「知識產權及其保護策略」為題，介紹知識產權的基礎知識。
技術轉移中心在2018年9月14日於周德新講堂舉辦知識產權講座。該講座邀請了美國知識產權法律事務所Nath, Goldberg & Meyer 的合夥人Jerald L. Meyer律師及Gregory B. Kang律師以「知識產權及其保護策略」為題，介紹知識產權的基礎知識。
在是次講座裡，Kang律師介紹了各種知識產權類型，其中包括專利、商標、版權（包括軟件和數據庫）、商業秘密、技術和外觀設計等，並針對各類發明提出最佳保護策略，讓聽眾對知識產權有初步的認識。其後Meyer律師對專利作深入介紹，對專利申請及審查程序作出詳細解釋，指出申請專利的最佳時機，探討申請專利對公開發明的影響，並指出專利與其他知識產權類型的聯繫。最後，Meyer律師更針對如何提高發明價值給予實用建議。是次講座反應熱烈，聽眾超過180人。
