郭嵩教授榮膺科睿唯安「2023年度最廣獲徵引研究人員」
計算機科學及工程學系郭嵩教授入選科睿唯安（Clarivate）計算機科學領域「2023年度最廣獲徵引研究人員」。
科睿唯安每年評選全球「最廣獲徵引研究人員」名單，以表彰在不同領域內極具影響力的頂級研究人員。每位入選的研究人員都撰寫了多篇過去十年內在Web of Science引用次數位於其領域前1%的高被引論文且數量位居前列。
2023年度共有6,849名來自67個國家和地區的研究人員入選該名單。在全世界科學家和社會科學家中，「最廣獲徵引研究人員」的比例為千分之一。
郭教授於2023年加入香港科技大學。他是一位國際知名的領導者，在開發新型邊緣智能架構、算法和系統方面做出了基礎性和開創性的貢獻，可廣泛應用於移動設備、物聯網和可穿戴設備等。自2020年以來，郭教授已連續四年入選該份榜單。
