四位工學院教授獲國家自然科學基金委員會及香港研究資助局兩項合作研究計劃共610萬撥款
四位工學院教授於國家自然科學基金委員會（基金委）及香港研究資助局（研資局）的2023/24年度「合作研究重點項目計劃」及「聯合科研資助基金」兩項研究計劃中獲得逾610萬港元資助。
「基金委及研資局合作研究重點項目計劃」旨在資助內地及香港跨學科、跨院校的合作研究重點項目，以持續提升內地與香港的研究成果與影響力。本年度共有10個項目獲選，當中香港科技大學佔三個，一個來自工學院。
獲「2023/24年度基金委及研資局合作研究重點項目計劃」的工學院項目
項目名稱：基於孤對電子陽離子的多元無鉛鈣鈦礦材料設計、制備與光電器件研究
項目統籌者：周圓圓教授（化學及生物工程學系副教授）
「基金委及研資局聯合科研資助基金」的成立目的是在兩地優勢互補的基礎上，促進內地與香港研究人員或隊伍的學術研究合作。計劃資助由內地和香港地區科研人員聯合提出的研究計劃，以及兩個在港舉行的會議項目。工學院於本年度獲得兩項研究項目及一項會議項目的資助。
