开拓崭新思维 培育环球领袖
生活在今天复杂多变的社会，我们不能墨守成规。一个负责任的公共政策领袖需对社会的变化有着迅速的应变能力，在影响我们日常生活的全球议题上寻求崭新见解和创新方案。
为此，牛津大学和科大联手合办“牛津—科大领领导人才及公共政策系列”（LAPP）。作为科大最近刚成立的公共政策领导人才培训课程的首个项目，LAPP的目标是为公共政策领袖，包括香港、中国内地以至亚洲的政府部门、法定或相关组织和志愿机构的资深公务员和高级行政人员提供领导培训。
LAPP系列汇聚牛津及科大的学术专长和优势，涵盖经济、可持续发展、城市规划、社会公义、科技政策及其他与领导能力相关的全球议题，以期启发公共事务决策者在瞬息万变的环境下，探索创新的方案。
弹性的学习模式例如主题系列课程、自选课程、公开论坛和研讨会等，能有助促进学术界、政府和小区之间进行深入和开放的讨论，建立更巩固的合作关系。
这个课程也致力提高学员的应变能力，并就公共领域的议题作出思考和分享见解，同时建构有效的策略，以应对决策过程面对的种种挑战。
此外，科大也与美国享负盛名的史密斯学院合作，为亚洲和其他地区的资深女性行政人员提供专设的行政人员教育课程。这个LAPP系列课程包括管治、社会与文化转型、科学与技术及全球经济等多个范畴。
