Build YouTube on the Blockchain Seminar
The Co-Founder of LINO Network, Dr. Qifeng Chen, shared about his LINO's platform and business model in a seminar on 19th September in LT-C, HKUST. Around 300 students attended this event to know more about blockchain and how the platform could be a revolutionary tool for content/individual creator. Attendees also got to know more about Dr. Qifeng Chen's entrepreneurial experiences and challenges.
Dr. Qifeng Chen is our Assistant Professor of CSE and ECE Department at HKUST. He received his PhD in computer science from Stanford and his bachelor's degree in computer science & maths from HKUST. He Co-Founded LINO Network with two of his Berkeley alumni friends. LINO is a decentralized live streaming platform with 500,000 monthly active users and the start-up has managed to raise $20 million from top investors such as Zhen Fund.
