HKUST Engineering Achieved Best Ever Position in THE Engineering Rankings
The newly released prestigious Times Higher Education (THE) World University Rankings of Top 100 Universities for Engineering and Technology 2015-16 ranked HKUST No.16 worldwide, the best ever position achieved by any local university since the establishment of this league table in 2010. HKUST Engineering made an impressive jump of five places from No.21 in 2014-15 and has hit the No.1 spot in Greater China for five straight years. The rankings assessed the universities in the five areas of teaching, research, citations, international outlook and industry income.
The rising global profile of the School of Engineering attests to our commitment to provide transformative education and lead world-changing research. As the University reaches its 25th anniversary, the School will continue to produce breakthroughs and sustain our leadership position as a global teaching and research powerhouse.
