梁振英先生率香港媒体高管团到访我校
今天下午，在全国政协副主席、广州南沙粤港合作咨询委员会顾问梁振英先生的带领下，香港20余家媒体的高管及知名媒体人士到访我校，开展参观调研。
香港科技大学（广州）校长倪明选教授致欢迎词。他特别感谢梁振英先生对学校的关心和支持，欢迎各位香港传媒界领袖来到学校实地参观调研。倪明选校长向各位来宾介绍了学校的筹建历程、使命愿景、办学理念、办学特色等基本情况，并引领嘉宾俯瞰学校教学核心区。
“关于学校，大家还有哪些想要了解的内容，可以借此机会与倪校长交流。”在座谈交流环节，梁振英先生亲切开场，嘉宾纷纷发问。他们关心的问题集中在学校的师资队伍建设、重点科研项目开展、引才育才等方面。
“港科大（广州）的老师来自哪里？”有嘉宾问。倪明选校长介绍，一部分老师来自香港科技大学，并在港科大（广州）担任高级管理职务，例如校长、副校长、院长、学域主任等；一部分师资则是学校根据两校（即港科大与港科大（广州））共同制定的学术人员聘任标准，从全球招聘来的优秀人才。
“香港也在全世界找人才，大湾区的内地城市也在全世界找人才。那么，港科大（广州）找人才，有什么吸引力呢？”有嘉宾问。倪明选校长介绍，港科大（广州）与港科大在“港科大一体，双校互补”的框架下协同发展，使得学校在引才方面有着独特的吸引力。“我们与港科大联聘教授，人才可以充分利用香港和内地的优势，发挥所长，贡献国家。”
