科大加强与白俄罗斯大学进行学术合作
香港科技大学 (科大) 今天与白俄罗斯国立无线电信息大学签订协议，加强两所大学的学术合作和交流。白俄罗斯国立无线电信息大学是白俄罗斯共和国内一所优秀学府，在计算机科学、无线电电子学及电子通讯领域的教研工作，在该国首屈一指。
科大显示技术研究中心主任郭海成教授，与白俄罗斯国立无线电信息大学校长M Batura今日签订协议，双方展开合作的新一页。
科大与白俄罗斯国立无线电信息大学的合作，始於2002年。当时，电子及计算机工程学系暨显示技术研究中心主任郭海成讲座教授，与该大学签订了研究合作协议，双方展开学术交流，己经取得一些重要成果。
郭海成教授表示，科大很荣幸，能够与白俄罗斯着名的大学进一步加强合作。根据今天签署的协议，两所大学将交换学生、老师及研究人员，為期五年。双方可以在纳米材料及纳米电子学上，寻求和开拓研究合作项目，进一步扩大两校的合作和交流范畴。
白俄罗斯国立无线电信息大学简介
白俄罗斯国立无线电信息大学於1964年成立，致力培育计算机科学、无线电电子学及电子通讯领域的工程及科技人员，在白俄罗斯共和国内首屈一指。今天，白俄罗斯国立无线电信息大学成為该国内一所规模庞大的教研中心。
