Prof Ross Murch Elected Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET)

-Prof Ross Murch, Head and Chair Professor of the Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering, has been elected Fellow of the Institution of Engineering and Technology (IET).

The IET is a world leading professional organisation sharing and advancing knowledge to promote science, engineering and technology across the world.  It has more than 150,000 members worldwide in 127 countries. The fellowship is bestowed for individuals who have demonstrated sustained achievements in their profession.

Prof Murch is also an IEEE fellow. His research interests include Wireless Communications with a focus on novel Multiple Input Multiple output (MIMO) Wireless Systems, Compact MIMO Antenna design, Cognitive Radio, Cooperative Wireless systems, WLAN and LTE-Advanced.
