Prof. Ying CHAU's Team Wins Top Prizes for Innovative Cell Cultivation Technology

Prof. Ying CHAU's team, Allegrow, has won the Platinum and GF Innovation Awards at the HKUST-Sino One Million Dollar Entrepreneurship Competition 2023.

The team developed a new artificial cell cultivation technology that optimizes the production process of immune cells, reducing production costs by up to 48% compared to current methods, and saving up to 33% of production time per product. Allegrow's technology will greatly improve production efficiency, reduce patient waiting time and medical expenses, and make cell therapy more accessible to the public.
