Prof. LI Zhigang Elected Fellow of American Society of Mechanical Engineers
Prof. LI Zhigang, Associate Head and Professor of Mechanical and Aerospace Engineering, was elected a Fellow of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) in December 2023, in recognition of his significant engineering achievements.
Prof. Li’s research areas cover micro/nano fluidics, nanoparticle transport, nanoscale heat and mass transfer, and energy conversion using nanosystems.
Founded in 1880, ASME is a not-for-profit professional organization that enables collaboration, knowledge sharing, and skill development across all engineering disciplines. It has more than 78,000 members from over 145 countries and regions worldwide.
