Prof Jack Lau Received Grand Prize and Gold Award for 2009 HKEIA Award for Outstanding Innovation and Technology Products

ECE Adjunct Associate Professor and alumni, Prof. Jack Lau, has received Grand Prize (all categories) and Gold Award (Consumer Electronics) for the 2009 Hong Kong Electronic Industry Association (HKEIA) Award for Outstanding Innovation and Technology Products. The HKEIA Award is open for exhibitors at the Hong Kong Electronic Fair (Autumn Edition) and electronicAsia 2009, held in the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre in 13-16 October 2009.

 

The aim of the HKEIA Award is to promote the image of outstanding innovation and technology products, stimulate creativity within the electronics industry, and recognize and reward companies producing new products in areas of design and technology.

 

Prof Lau was also interviewed by NOW TV at the Hong Kong Electronic Fair to comment on the newly announced Hong Kong Policy Address made by HKSAR Chief Executive Sir Donald Tsang. The segment was broadcasted on 14 October 2009.
