Mobile Services Proposal by Prof Oscar Au's Team Selected by the Hong Kong Cyberport TD-SCDMA Service Development Centre

Prof Oscar Au and his team from the ECE Department has had their mobile services proposal for the Hong Kong Cyberport TD-SCDMA Service Development Centre selected for display. The title of the project is: “High quality video streaming based on advanced video/audio coding techniques and optimized adaptive streaming algorithms”. A total of 7 proposals were selected out of 23 received from the industry. The overall aim is to establish a test and development facility at Cyberport for TD-SCDMA application development and know-how.
