Five Engineering Professors Ranked Top 20 in China by Research.com

Five eminent academic leaders from the School of Engineering (SENG) were ranked in China’s top 20 in their respective disciplines by Research.com, an international data-driven educational platform for students.

The rankings list the best scientists worldwide across 26 disciplines and were created using data combined from multiple data sources including OpenAlex and CrossRef. Position in the rankings is based on a researcher’s D-index (Discipline H-index), which includes exclusively publications and citation values for an examined discipline.

The five SENG scholars who were ranked within China’s top 20 fall into four disciplines:

Prof. DING Cunsheng
12th in China (Mathematics discipline)
Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering

Prof. ZHANG Qian
12th in China (Electronics and Electrical Engineering discipline)
Tencent Professor of Engineering
Chair Professor, Department of Computer Science and Engineering
Acting Head, Division of Integrative Systems and Design

Prof. Khaled B. LETAIEF
14th in China (Electronics and Electrical Engineering discipline)
New Bright Professor of Engineering
Chair Professor, Department of Electronic and Computer Engineering

Prof. YANG Hai
17th in China (Engineering and Technology discipline)
Chair Professor, Department of Civil and Environmental Engineering
