EVMT Homecoming and Appreciation Dinner

The Environmental Management and Technology (EVMT) program celebrated a significant milestone in 2023, as it marked the 10-year graduation anniversary for the first cohort (Class of 2013). On this occasion, the EVMT Homecoming and Appreciation Dinner was held on 2 June to thank all the contributors to the program’s success.

Over 230 people joined the dinner, including 100+ alumni, 60+ current students, 40+ guests & stakeholders, and 30+ faculty and staff members. The Dinner not only celebrated EVMT's significant milestones and collective achievements, but also a heartwarming occasion that brought together the big EVMT family after a long time apart due to the pandemic.

The guests enjoyed a reception at 6:30 p.m. and a dinner at 7:30 p.m, followed by a panel discussion by distinguished guests, including Mr. Ringo LAM, Associate Principal of Sustainability Business at Schneider Electric, Mr. Ee Sin TAN, Partner of EY Hong Kong's Climate Change and Sustainability Services & Financial, and Dr. Jimmy TONG, Principal Energy Advisory Consultant and Associate of ARUP, who shared career insights and outlook for EVMT students and alumni.

The EVMT Homecoming and Appreciation Dinner was a great opportunity for the EVMT community to come together and reminisce about the accomplishment of EVMT over the decade.
