香港科技大學（科大）的“微納自清潔和光學減反膜”項目在第三屆“協鑫杯”國際大學生綠色能源科技創新創業大賽擊敗了來自40家中國內地、新加坡及台灣大學的70支參賽團隊，勇奪冠軍。“微納自清潔和光學減反膜”是科大初創公司科日發展有限公司的研發項目，科日發展有限公司由科大博士生建立，更是2016年百萬獎金創業大賽的得獎團隊。
