張軍教授於《自然－通訊》發表具私隱保護的分布式學習技術
由電子及計算機工程學系張軍教授其前哲學博士生邵嘉偉博士合著的論文「Selective Knowledge Sharing for Privacy-Preserving Federated Distillation Without a Good Teacher」，最近發表於國際知名的多學科期刊《自然－通訊》。
這個研究探討了分布式學習中的私隱保障這個重要課題。他們提出的方法允許多個客戶（例如銀行、醫院）協作訓練機器學習模型，而無需共享私隱資料。與現有的技術相比，他們的方法大大減低了訓練過程中的通訊成本，增強了私隱保護，提高了模型的性能，並允許客戶採用不同的模型。
是項研究與微軟亞洲研究院合作完成，並由邵嘉偉博士擔任論文的第一作者。邵博士於2024年初完成哲學博士學位，現為張教授團隊的博士後研究員。
