Post-Exam IPO Gathering: Roller Skating

To celebrate the end of Spring Term, IPO students gathered together on a Saturday afternoon on 11 June 2022 at a 20,000 sq feet skating rink to have fun roller-skating and unwind from exam stress.

Before skating in the main rink, all 34 participants first received training led by professional roller-skating coaches to learn the basic skills such as balancing, rolling forward and making a stop. They were then asked to complete simple tasks together as a team to test their new skills and bond with one another.

After the one-hour training session, students took their newfound skills to the big skating rink for casual skating and took pictures with their friends in different photo spots.

Students were in good spirits and appreciated the occasion to gather after examinations, hang out and relax with friends while trying a new sport.
