Prof Joseph Lee Awarded Honorary Membership of International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research

Vice-President for Research and Graduate Studies and Chair Professor of Civil and Environmental Engineering Prof Joseph H W Lee was awarded Honorary Membership of the International Association for Hydro-Environment Engineering and Research (IAHR) at the Opening Ceremony of the 36th IAHR World Congress held in The Hague on June 29, 2015. Honorary Membership is the most prestigious honor conferred by the IAHR Council. It is bestowed on up to three distinguished IAHR members and/or individuals and institutions from outside the IAHR community at the biennial IAHR world congress. Prof Lee is the first recipient from Hong Kong and the second only from the Greater China among the 30 recipients around the world since the award was first presented in 1983. There are three awardees this year, including Prof Lee.
