Prof. GUO Song Honored as Highly Cited Researcher 2023 by Clarivate
Prof. GUO Song from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering has been named a Highly Cited Researcher 2023 in the field of Computer Science by Clarivate.
The annual list of Highly Cited Researchers recognizes influential researchers around the world who have demonstrated significant and broad influence in their field(s) of research. Each researcher selected has authored multiple highly cited papers which rank in the top 1% by citations for their field(s) and publication year in the Web of Science over the past decade.
More than 6,800 researchers from 67 countries/regions were named in the 2023 list. Of the world’s population of scientists and social scientists, Highly Cited Researchers are 1 in 1,000.
Prof. Guo joined HKUST in 2023. He is a world-renowned leader who made fundamental and pioneering contributions to the development of novel edge intelligence architectures, algorithms, and systems over ubiquitous mobile, IoT, and wearable devices. He has been on the list of Highly Cited Researchers for four consecutive years since 2020.
