第十五屆全球華人化工學者研討會在香港完滿舉行
由香港科技大學承辦，香港大學、香港中文大學、香港城市大學、和香港理工大學協辦的第十五屆全球華人化工學者研討會於2023年8月5日至9日在香港科技大學舉行。本屆會議是全球華人化工學者跨學科、高水平的專業盛會，500多名與會院士、國內國際香港化工領域一流華人專家和同學, 探討國際化學工程教育與科學研究前沿問題、傳播化工知識與技術、推動國際交流與合作、促進化學工程與技術領域的學術繁榮、開展學科間的交叉融合和產學研協同創新、提高華人化工學者的全球影響力。
適逢香港科技大學化學及生物工程系建系30周年，今年還特別舉辦了“未來化工教育和研究高端論壇” ，專家們的真知灼見不僅是科大化工學科的發展明燈，也為整個化工領域的未來發展提供了新的思路和方向。本屆會議的另外一個特色論壇“創新創業論壇”指導科研工作者怎麼從實驗室走出去，讓自己的技術落地開花結果。論壇報告還包括青年學者論壇和優秀博士生論壇、女科學家論壇和未來化工論壇，另設置了大會報告、分會報告、牆報展示等交流活動。
全球華人化工學者研討會是彙聚全球化工領域專家學者的具有國際性影響力的學術會議，首屆於2009年在加拿大舉辦，此後採用中國境內外輪流承辦的模式已成功舉辦14屆。
