科大首位博士毕业生创办之公司转往联交所主板上市
香港科技大学（科大）首位博士毕业生廖家俊博士创立的幻音数码控股有限公司股份於上週五（6月3日）由香港联合交易所（联交所）创业板转往主板正式掛牌买卖，新股份代号：1822。幻音数码為消费电子產品商业化及技术解决方案专家。
科大校长陈繁昌教授表示：「幻音数码是科大创业计划下首家及最大的上市公司，显示公司成绩得到认同，实在令我们感到兴奋﹔而廖博士是土生土长的香港人，凭着他对科研的热忱和创意、不断追求理想、坚持不懈，终能成功创业。香港年青人很多都有抱负和潜能，我希望科大能够培育这些年青人，发挥他们的创业精神，透过科技创出自己的事业，促进社会经济发展。」
科大的创业中心特设创业计划，為有志创业的师生与校友提供创业支援服务，包括提供办公设备、介绍商界与投资者网络以至资金筹组等。至今，在科大创业计划下成立的公司已有40多家。幻音数码是该计划下僱员人数及收益计最大的公司。
廖家俊博士曾获得十大杰青、香港青年工业家奖及安永企业家奖中国2009荣誉等多项殊荣。幻音数码专门提供消费电子產品的技术解决方案，目标是发展為多媒体及互联网连接和保健科技的主要消费电子解决方案供应商。公司的主要客户包括国际顶级品牌集团和《财富》杂誌世界五百强(Fortune Global500)。
