LKSF "Future Now!" Outreach Program to Australia

HKUST students got an valuable opportunity to know more about the entrepreneurship culture in Australia by joining the Outreach Program "Future Now!".  The program, co-organized by Li Ka Shing Foundation, HKUST and other three local universities in HK, took place at Australia from 6 to 9 October 2019.

The program received an overwhelming number of applications from HKUST students who are interested in entrepreneurship. Three students from School of Business and Management & School of Engineering were selected to join the the program. Prof. Gary CHAN, the Director of HKUST Entrepreneurship Center, also joined this program as an advisor.

 

Students had a chance to visit the high-tech startups at Australia, exchange ideas with the startup entrepreneurs and explore cutting-edge technology such as satellite IoT & quantum computing.
