A new joint SCUT-HKUST laboratory on Display Technology

HKUST and South China University of Technology 華南理工大學 (SCUT), a key university of science and engineering in China, have signed an agreement on a joint SCUT-HKUST lab on display technology. SCUT and the Guangdong Government will commit more than HKD100 million to set up a large facility dedicated to Thin Film Transistor (TFT) technology. Prof Hoi Sing KWOK, a Chair Professor of Electronic and Computer Engineering and the Dr. William Mong Chair Professor of Nanotechnology, will serve as the founding director of the newly established lab.
