新华通讯社社长、党组书记傅华一行到我校调研
4月16日下午，新华通讯社社长、党组书记傅华一行来到香港科技大学（广州）调研。广东省委常委、宣传部部长陈建文，广州市委常委、南沙区委书记卢一先，广州市委常委、宣传部部长杜新山陪同调研。
在座谈环节，香港科技大学（广州）校长倪明选教授向傅华一行介绍学校的筹建历程、教育理念、学术架构、师资队伍等基本情况。他谈到，港科大（广州）希望走出一条培养创新型人才的新路。例如，我校的“红鸟硕士项目”是国内第一个采用“大类招生”的硕士课程。项目以学生为中心，通过团队项目引导的教学模式，学生在学术导师、项目导师、业界导师的指导下完成团队项目和学习任务，获取知识并提升综合能力。
在我校红鸟学创空间和Highbay嗨呗天地，傅华听取港科大（广州）副校长（教学）吴景深教授对教学改革理念及实践情况的详细介绍。了解到世界范围内还鲜少有高校开展此类改革时，傅华对港科大（广州）的探索与创新表示赞许和鼓励。

港科大（广州）校长特别助理、校长办公室主任李斌博士，信息枢纽院长、讲座教授陈雷，协理副校长（知识转移办公室）、讲座教授熊辉，校长办公室对外关系处处长、人才服务处处长黄宇博士，校长办公室公共事务处副处长黄茜参与调研。
